Pungajurruwu School - Wurankuwu(Ranku)
Kathy Bennett, the new full time teacher at Ranku, together with her assistant Raphaelia Tipungwuti opened the newly renovated Pungajurruwu(Ranku) School on August 7th, 2008.
Sixteen local children aged between four and twelve are registered. The students and parents were thrilled at how "beautiful" their classroom looked. Together the teachers and children worked on the rules of the school and it didn't take long for the students to adjust to the new routine.

School Camp
The school camp brought great excitement as grades four, five and six children went off on one of these expeditions for the first time. This was a good opportunity for the younger children to have some quality time in the new invironment on their own.
